Grandview10 gears up for 2012
As we start the New Year, your GNEA negotiating team is preparing to begin the work of Grandview 10. The certified staff of C4 elected GNEA as their exclusive representative on Grandview 10 and it is our responsibility to represent and advocate for the interests of all certified staff in the district. We look forward to working with the other members of the GV10 team – Board members and Administrators – to reach consensus regarding issues surrounding salary, benefits and working conditions. We appreciate the expertise of our GNEA GV10 team: Susan Thomas, Ritchey Lowe, DeeAnn Moore, Rebeka McIntosh, Sandy Runyan, and our UniServ director, Bar Kaelter.
GNEA is currently accepting applications for the High School representative on our team. It is critical that the GV10 team reflect and represent the interests of certified staff from all areas of the district. GHS members, please consider joining the GNEA GV10 team and advocating for your colleagues. No experience or special qualifications, it is your expertise and voice on the team that is vitally important in order for GV10 to have a full picture of high school concerns and issues.
Please contact any member of the GNEA GV10 team for more information and answers to your questions. There is a brief questionnaire that we ask you to complete for the position that can be found on our website, www.grandview.mnea.org, or by contacting a member of the team.
